Hi Susanne,
Just to let you know how much we enjoyed staying at Chez Susanne.
The house was perfect for our needs and the village is very special. The house is
well equipped and made to feel homely and cosy - even down to being provided with
dog bowls for our dog! The garden came into its own with the roses coming out whilst
we were there. We even pulled out the weeds coming through the bark which kept us
busy - shows how at home we felt even gardening whilst on holiday!! We did not need
to move the car for 3 days as there was plenty for us to see locally with all the
lovely walks nearby - each road out of the village giving another view. The people
were also very friendly and tolerant of our "school days" French!
The beauty of Moulins Engilbert is that it has everything for a relaxing holiday
surrounded by fantastic countrywide to enjoy.

Hello Susan
I had the distinct pleasure of staying in your wonderful home in July, 2009 and wanted
to express my absolute delight with not only the location of the house (in the quaint
little town of Moulins-Engelbert) but also the friendliness of all the people I encountered
there. I will always have fond memories of the serenity of sitting in the garden
and marveling at the beautiful sight before me ---your gardener is to be congratulated!!
The location in the centre of France also made it very convenient to have day-trips
to many interesting areas, including the wonderful wine areas of Burgundy, the Morvan
Forest region and the Loire Valley.
